This year, international students at D.W. Poppy came from ten different countries:  Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, and the People’s Republic of China.  Academically, these students have been very successful with many graduates moving on to universities and colleges throughout Canada and the United States.  In addition, these students had the opportunity to make Canadian friends through our International Club which is led by domestic student mentors and senior international student leaders.  Many of the international students also participated in the travel opportunities the District provides so that they can experience more of what British Columbia has to offer.
