Dear parents and caregivers of students in grades ten and twelve,
On an annual basis, the Ministry of Education has asked B.C. Schools to participate in a survey process that requires grade ten and grade twelve students and their parents as well as all school staff to complete a Student Learning Survey.
The primary objective of the Student Learning Survey is to provide information that will support discussions about improving student achievement at each school. The survey gathers perceptions from students, parents, and staff on areas including achievement, human and social development, and safety. The information collected by the survey will help schools, school districts, and the Ministry set goals and establish priorities for future school years.
Please note: The surveys are NOT available in paper format. If you do NOT have internet access at home and would like to complete the survey please contact me to set up a convenient time to complete the survey at DW Poppy Secondary on our computer network.

Parents will NOT require PINs to access the survey and can use the direct access option to logon to the survey. The survey is quite simple and takes less than 10 minutes.
The satisfaction survey needs to be completed before April 15, 2019. We thank you in advance for your participation. The more completely our school is represented, the more useful the information will be. Our School Planning Council and staff will be using this information to plan for the future.
