Any students or staff interested in ordering any Poppy Rugby Clothing are invited to try on clothing samples this Fri. Jan. 11 at Lunch in Rm 171.
GRADE 11 & 12 The KPU School of Business wants a team of 3-5, Gr. 11-12 students to represent DWP competition to be named the Future Business Leaders of 2019. Participants will be mentored by faculty in our School of Business, gain university-level business skills, & have the opportunity to network with industry professionals. The winning team will receive an $800-$1000 scholarship to KPU, while the 2nd & 3rd place teams will win a donation to their school’s Business Ed Dept. or business club.

Fri. Mar. 8 – 5:30pm to 7:30pm & Sat. Mar. 9 – 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Get your friends together…Receive a 5×7 photo of your group for only $10.00 each.

Please have one person sign up on behalf of your group. Photos will be sent to the school and delivered to the person who signed up. That person will then be responsible to distribute a 5×7 photo to each member of that group. You are welcome to come as a theme or bring props. Make your friendship photo unique to you!!

Payment must be made at the time the photo is taken. We accept cash, check, debit and credit cards. Groups may be as small as 2 or as large as 15.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR SHOWCASE Come out at lunch on Jan. 18 to the front foyer to shop at the 2nd entrepreneur showcase of the year. Looking for a gift or something for yourself, the Gr. 8’s have put together a wide assortment of products for everyone.
GRADE 11 Animal Logics Animation Company will be holding a 2nd ‘work experience week’ for Gr. 11 students from BC at our Studio in downtown Vancouver from Mar. 18-22, where successful applicants will spend the week learning & applying a variety of computer animation related skills. This could help students achieve all of their 30 hours work experience, in one fun & exciting week. Deadline is May 4th. Interested students please see Athina Czuprynski.


Hunter Dickinson is a mineral exploration & mining company with a head office in Vancouver that explores for, develops & mines a variety of minerals around the world.

In their downtown Vancouver office there are 3, 1-week long postings (March 18-22):

  • 1 student in Reception
  • 1 student in Resource & Database
  • 1 student in Risk and Compliance

As well as 1, 2-day long posting (March 18-19):

  • 1 student in Tax Accounting.
